SHORT & SWEET, 'KAY?

i don't want to make these rules ultra long, okay? i can never stay focused long enough to write them anyways. so short and sweet it is. first of all, some basic stuff you should know. be nice, don't be rude, respect everyone. treat people the way you wanna be treated. if you treat us like a pregnant dog, we'll treat you like one too. fair is fair. keep the site pretty pg-13 okay? we allow some mature things, like language and such, but keep it low key. not too much profanity and nothing sexual really except for kissing, at least not role-played out. if you want it to happen, fine, but no role-playing it. and definitely keep that off of the out of character boards. for role-playing,

i'm not gonna put a word limit or anything, but i would like you to post at least twice a week. it's not asking much really. you can post on the games for heaven's sake. please keep avatars 100x100 and when posting images on the board make sure they look semi-pretty and don't have any white pixels or anything. signatures can be 450x300 [max] same with images post on the boards. icons are loved and preferred. (: i'm also gonna say seven characters per person. i know i like making characters myself. but i'm making it that you need at like thirty posts to make a new char, and then thirty posts on that account to make another new one, and so on. and at least some of those posts must be an actual role play. with paragraphs and third person.

play bys are to be from an anime, manga or video game, no celebrities allowed. once you claim a play by you may not change it unless you have a very good reason why you should be an exception. for characters, also please make sure you don't have the same first name as somebody else. it makes it confusing when you talk about characters, so check the list of members on the site to make sure any first name you want isn't taken. same last names are a-ok. same with middle names and what not.

here on h&h we've made it so hogwarts allows technology. this is indeed muggle technology and concepts that have been adapted for use by wizards. many muggle borns adjust easily, and many half bloods have adjusted and know how to use the interwebz and blogging and chat systems. a few pure blooded families have as well, because it's the newest fad in the wizarding world, but most pure bloods haven't. xD if they haven't you don't have to fill out the internet alias part, just post like, an n/a or you could just post their nickname in that area. (:

so, i'm pretty sure that i covered everything that needed to be covered and that i didn't leave anything out. (: please follow these rules and try to remind other people about the rules if they aren't following them ya' know. first offense is a warning, second is another warning, and the third is a ban. fourth is a deletion of character and then fifth is another suspension and so on as the admins see fit.
