this is the book that all students (and non students) need to read through to be able to join and participate on hexes & hippogriffs. just read through it and what not and then you can fill out your application and get sorted. make sure you read everything.

this is the place where you get to create your character! the application + it's walk through is posted inside of here, along with the directory of all of the accepted applications. please also make sure to check the face claim before you post your app! we don't want two of the same face.

here is where you can do all that nifty plotting. please, no plot pages. this site width is too small for normal plot pages. this is for plotting only. no lyrics, no gradients, nothing. just a thread asking to plot with a few images and maybe some icons. just plotting. (: but have fun!

since this is indeed, a modern harry potter role-play. everything that we have now, is in this roleplay! awesome, right?! so we have the passing of the notes, and voicemail, and the iphone, and texting and all of those totally tubular things! remember though, not all of the wizards will know what's what. half bloods & muggles will, but not many pure bloods will. (:

whether you wanna post up a blog (yours? somebody else's?), or maybe send somebody an eeeeeemail, OR maybe leave a tiny little blurb on somebody's face page. you can do that all on the internet. it keeps all the lines open for some communicating. so, you aren't talking to someone in person! doesn't mean it can't be personal! (;

these are the many fields of hogwarts. these span out all the way to the lake and then back around the castle to the front gates. most of the outdoor recreation is located out here.

the general herbology area. this is where the three greenhouses are, the planetarium, and the other nifty stuff. the current herbology teacher is ----. oh, the infamous hedge maze is also here.

this is the forbiddon forest! *spooky voice* it's off limits to all students no matter their age, only professors are allowed in but that's only to collect information or if the potion professor needs some more ingredients or whatever. care of magical creatures is also held in here, but that is the only time students are allowed within the trees. and they must be in the company of a fellow student or professor while going to class.

this is the upper end of hogsmeade. it's where many of the lower class stores and shoppes are. odd right? since it's the upper part. but many of the better shops are located down the hill, more toward where the students enter the town.

this is the lower part of hogsmeade. this is the general area of where the student's of hogwarts congregate when they visit on the weekends. this is also where the students enter, and tend the be the busiest place in the winter time.

this is the area around the town of hogsmeade. there are a few other sites not in town that students are allowed to see, they just have to make sure they travel in pairs or groups. if they don't they could face punishment if caught by a professor or chaperon.

when you aren't posting on the site, what else is there to do? here of course! in here are the in character and out of character games, along with the little graphics area (with our favorite icon drop!) and the general site chit chat. members only though. (:
